NCF Readin

The NCF Readin was a wonderful event  showcasing Barbados' local talent seasoned and fresh, from The Mighty Gabby to Billy Kincaid. The evening was highly entertaining, with folk singing, contemporary singing ,poetry et al and enjoyed by all in attendance on the lovely grounds of the George Washington House. Arts and craft were also on sale.
I was there promoting 'Guilty' which was on sale courtesy the NCF and taking in the show. I was pleasantly surprised to observe a woman ,unknown to me, approach the display of books and spontaneously point to 'Guilty' and say 'that's a good book'. It was for me a huge unsolicited compliment and made the evening for me.
Thanks to the NCF and to readers who chose to purchase and read my book. Keep spreading the word.

Latest Review

It was fantastic. When I started it I couldn’t stop. I don’t normally read novels but I found Guilty intriguing.

Guilty Launch Report

Guilty -The Trials of Phil Ferguson had a wonderful launch on 1st July 2011 at the C.O.B. Credit Union
on Lower Broad St.
The atmosphere was set by soothing pan playing by Harry Russell the author's father.
The book was introduced by the book's publisher Carol Pitt who was even good enough to offer some fabulous readings from the book ,full of expression and life. The author offered readings as well.
Also present was Ms. Kelly Hunte, President of the Optimists Club.
A lot of interest  was generated in the book, with one woman bursting with enthusiasm as she bought the book. She couldn't wait to get out the line where she was doing her business so that she could get the book. Others purchased books and had them signed by the author while others got copies signed that they had purchased before.
There was also a giveaway where one purchaser was surprised to find the copy she was paying for was free. She decided to make a donation to the charity
The event was also covered by the business section of the Nation newspaper.

A sincere thanks to Mr.Winston Alleyne and the staff and management of C.O.B. Credit Union Bridgetown for hosting the event and all the assistance in promoting the event.
Thanks also goes out to all the readers who bought copies of the book.
